Chevy silverado radio volume not working.
2023 silverado 1500 audio issues. I have my first chevrolet. It is a 2023 silverado 1500. Seems like all my audio would completely disappear out of nowhere. I looked it up and found a useful YouTube video on how to run a system reset. It's like powering down a computer and restarting it. But I have to say this is a royal pain in the ass.

So, when a non GM box is installed, you need an adapter to turn off the power to the radio and to provide a circuit for the chimes to work. For the chimes to work, the drivers door speaker needs to be wired into this adapter. I suspect you may have a wiring mess behind the radio. Ray. 2023 GMS Sierra AT4 here - stereo cuts out randomly for 1/2 second, sometimes once in 10 min and other times 3-4 times. Dealership says I'm only one to ever complain - good to see others have issues, owned since January 9000kms, been in twice to complain, they 'update' and if anything its worse after second visit.
Not exactly the same issue but I had a dead screen and the volume contol/power knob didn't work. I tried a restart but no good only when i walked away from the car and let it sit for an hour or so did the issue go away. Since that time it has not returned.
