LIC in and of itself has two main areas. There's around Queensboro Plaza with shit tons of new high-rise construction, but otherwise dead. There's also along Center Blvd by the waterfront which again is 99% new construction (this area is more technically called Hunters Point). Main bar/food area is along Vernon Blvd which has a good mix of stuff.The problem isnt that. Its that lower east side has changed in size and shape.
