Almost sounds like a rod knocking at idle but as soon as rpm are increased the noise goes away. An HD mechanic said this is normal but admits the sound on my bike is loud.

EITMS kicks in around 290-295 degrees with the original ECM program. HD released an updated ECM program that changes the EITMS kick-in temp to something above 360 degrees. I know because when I first took the bike to the dealer to check it, and the dealer updated the ECM, I have not yet had EITMS come on.

It may include the feature not activating at all, not behaving as it should when the Parade Mode is supposed to be on, or remaining active when the function is supposed to be turned off.
