Loosen up the screws that hold the carb on, turn your carb so you can get to the bottom of it, remove the 4 screws that hold the bowl on, once its off, take carb cleaner and spray the area where the float is real good.Common filters like 15412-hm5-a10 and 15410-KFO-315 are important to pay attention to. The 15412-kea-003 can go in either way. BUT make SURE you re install the washer that keep the spring from getting into the filter. If you look where the front bumper connects in to the frame (right under where you would mount a winch) you should see a sticker with the info on it. Like.there is a fuel filter. i think if you disconnect the fuel line at the carb, it is right there. Yup, just a little screen that sits in the fuel inlet on the carb. You can remove and clean it. I received a letter from Honda stating certain 2019 sxs and trx were assembled with fuel pumps that can malfunction which mine has (fuel pump stops working after riding long enough to warm up to normal ... I don't know what setup is in the Recon. You can look at the valve adjustment procedure in the Foreman section just to get an idea of what's all involved. Most Hondas are .006 +-.001 so I usually set them at .005 ON A COLD ENGINE.
